Welcome to the Council of Guilds web site. We are here to further the player community on the Everquest server, Karana. We will work to create and maintain communcication between all the guilds on this server, both member guilds and non-member guilds. We want to provide events of all types to the players of Karana, including role-playing, wars, storylines, competitions and fun activities that all players, guild members, independents, and friends will enjoy.

11/20/02 - The Council of Guilds held a meeting on Nov. 19th, 2002, to discuss joining the Venril Sathir rotation. See the Meetings Page for a log of this and our other meetings.

03/13/01 - I've added a Calendar to the site, which anyone can use to advertise an event on Karana. It should only be events that are open to any or any Council of Guilds event.

03/06/01 - Pippi Langstrump of the Silver Daggers held and moderated over a Raid Leader Roundtable, discussing some of the finer points of leading raids. You can find the log of this here, or on our Meetings Archive page.

01/08/01 - The Council of Guilds held a meeting on Jan. 8th, 2001, discussing alliances, the Valentine's Dance, Chess Tournament, and having more mixer hunts. See the Meetings Page for a log of this and our other meetings.

10/23/00 - The Council of Guilds held a Low-Level Open Arena Tournament in the West Freeport Arena on Saturday, October 21st at 2 pm Central time. For more information, see the Tournament Recap page. I've also added my Rant on Event Organization and Disruption, to address some issues that came up during the event. A big thank you to all the guilds who helped with the event, as well as the audience and the participants.

7/22/00 - The Council of Guilds held it's second Dungeon Guild Mixer Hunt on Saturday, July 22, 2000. We began at 1 pm Central time, and three dungeons were assaulted, Permafrost, Splitpaw and Kedge Keep. See the Mixer Hunt page for details.
